Race Information

 

Race Distance: 5K, 10K

Date: 4th April 2020

Start & Finish Location: Aberdeen Country Park

Start time: 10km – 9:00am. 5km –9:15am

Categories: Individual or Team of 2 (run and finish together)

Checkpoint food / water:

5K – No checkpoints. – Bring your full water bottle or bladder to run with. (there is no water at the start)

10K – One checkpoint at 3.7km (as map below) : with water and bananas

Runners MUST bring their own water bottle or bladder to fill up. There will be carboys to fill from, but nothing to take away from the checkpoint.

Race day schedule:

7am – 8:30am: Late Bib & Race Pack Collection
(for those who couldn’t collect in central)
8:40 – 8:45am – Group warm up by Stephanie
8:50am – Welcome/ Run Brief
9:00am – Run Start (10km)
9:15am – Run Start (5km)
10:30 – Prize presentation (5K)
10:50 – Prize presentation (10K)

Course Maps

Route: The run starts and finishes in Aberdeen Country Park BBQ site. It is 60% road and 40% trail.
